Hircuse

For an OC I created to be in her webcomic universe!

Hircuse
Age: 37

One of the Rumat'aan race, Hircuse spent most of his childhood learning all he could from books.  Upon reaching adulthood, he became so fascinated with the pursuit of knowledge that he set out on his own scholarly pilgrimage.  He quickly realized that being out on his own was more dangerous than he had initially thought, so he picked up some fighting skills during his journey.  Though he mostly tries to stay out of harm's way, he will put on a good show if it means impressing someone he likes.

Most people consider Hircuse a drifter.  He wanders wherever he wants with no real plan in mind.  He carries hardly anything with the exception of some food and a book or two.  Unfortunately Hircuse is always tempted to eat the very books that he has grown to love and must constantly resist the urge to do so.

Hircuse can be somewhat charismatic.  He always remains calm and optimistic, despite any situation.  He values life and knowledge above all else.  It is rare to see him without a smile.  He is also somewhat of a "lady's man" though he has also been known to flirt with a man or two as well.

The Rumat'aans are rare to see, but not uncommon.  Most Rumat'aans dwell in the mountains and have very little to do with outsiders, though they are too hospitable to turn any away.  They age slightly slower than humans and stand a good foot taller than most.  Rumat'aans move very gracefully.  They may seem somewhat delicate, but their legs are usually very strong and can be used for kicking or moving over long distances rather quickly.  Rumat'aans are strictly herbivores.  They thrive in cold weather conditions.
